Can you modify our loft after it is installed?

We are available to modify a previously installed loft for an additional charge. Prior to building your loft, we make every effort to ensure that it is built to your exact requirements. If for example you realize that you should have gone with 5ft of clearance instead of 6ft, we can come back and modify the bed for you. If you would like us to make any modifications, please contact us with a description and we will gladly send you a quote for the work. **Any modifications that are necessary due to a mistake on our part are free.

What are the measurements of your lofts?

Measurements of our Original Lofts:

- Twin Original Loft - 82" long x 46" wide
- Full Original Loft - 82" long x 61" wide
- Queen Original Loft - 86" long x 67" wide

Measurements of our Premium Lofts:

- Twin Premium Loft - 79" long x 43" wide
- Full Premium Loft - 79" long x 59" wide
- Queen Premium Loft - 83" long x 64" wide

What is your cancellation policy?

Orders may be canceled for a full refund as long as we have not begun construction on them. We generally purchase the materials and cut them to size within 24hours of receiving your order, depending on our current build schedule at that time. If you need to cancel an order please contact us as quickly as possible to ensure that we can refund your full amount. If you contact us after the materials have been cut, you will receive a refund minus the cost of materials. Due to the custom nature of our kits, once the kit is completed there will be no refunds. There are no refunds for plans that have already been emailed.

Do you ship out of State?

Yes we do. If you live outside of our normal delivery area (within 75 miles of 94510) we can easily ship everything but our storage sheds to you. We use UPS Ground for all of our out of state deliveries. We have shipped loft bed kits to North Carolina, New York City, Georgia, Texas, and Oregon. If you would like a shipping quote for one of our kits, please contact us and provide your ZIP CODE at a minimum (street address would make the quote more accurate).

Does WoodenLofts.com maintain an inventory?

We don't. Because of the custom nature of our orders, each piece is built at the time the order is placed.

Does WoodenLofts.com have a showroom?

No. While we currently do not have a retail showroom for you to visit, you are welcome to contact us with regards to viewing any "in-progress" projects which we may be working on.

What are your hours of operation?

Because our shop is close to our home, we spend a significant amount of time during the week filling orders, though we have no set hours.

What types of wood do you use?

Our loft beds & picnic tables are normally made from Douglas Fir, however we do have access to Redwood as well. Any custom piece can be made from Red Oak, Pine, or Poplar. Due to the cost of each individual species, prices will vary.

Can you customize our loft?

We offer free customization on all of our loft beds. The length is fully customizable by you (up to 8'), as well as the clearance under the loft (up to 6'). While we can also customize the width of each loft, there will be a charge for any additional material required to ensure the lofts stability.

How long after I place my order will I receive it?

This really depends on what your ordering, and how busy I am at the time your order is placed. Currently it takes approximately 7-10 days for a Loft Bed, Platform Bed, Picnic Table and Adirondack Chair order to be completed.
