We built this bed for a buyer in Fairfield. This was a surprise for their 10 year old son. The buyers decided to have 2 safety rails on the outside, since the bed was going to be against a wall. The lamp is sitting on a small guard rail shelf, and the books are sitting on a single lower shelf. You can read their testemonial
HERE.
We built this bed for a buyer in Mountain View. This is a Queen size loft bed. The buyer decided to have one safety rail on the wall side, and one on the outside, which we had to re-size to fit the ladder which was added on at a later date.
This is a Full Size Loft Bed that was purchased by a college student in Oakland. The buyer ordered the Headboard Bookshelves, however due to the small space we were unable to attach the back of the shelves for her. The bed fit snugly against the wall though so nothing would be able to fall off the back of the shelves. In the pictures you can also see the Guard Rail Shelf that she ordered. The Lamp in the picture was scheduled for removal shortly after the bed was assembled. The Headboard Bookcase pictured here was made to the buyers specs. They are normally the same depth as the legs, so that they dont "jut out" as they do in these pictures. You can read her testemonial
HERE.
This is a Full Size Loft Bed that was purchased by a college student in San Francisco. The buyer has 12ft ceilings, so the legs of the loft were left at 8ft, in order to give him the flexibility to set the bed at the height that worked best for him. When the bed was assembled, their were 2 sets of holes drilled to make the bed adjustable from 5ft high to 6ft high. The bed is pictured at the 5ft height setting. These pictures do not show the provided guard rails attached, as the buyer decided against installing them.
This is a Twin Size Loft Bed that was purchased by a family in Rancho Cordova for their young daughter. The frame is 6ft tall, with the clearance under the bed set at 5ft. You'll notice that the front guard rail is different from the other beds we made. This design was built so that the buyer could add on a slide for his daughter. We also shortened the space in-between each rung to make the climb easier for their daughter.
This is a Queen Size Loft Bed that was purchased by a couple in San Rafael. The frame is 6ft tall, with holes drilled at 4ft, 4.5ft, and 5ft. In this picture the buyer sent, the bed is set with 4ft of clearance underneath. In this picture, you can see the desk attached to the bed (though at this height, it isn't functional), as well as 2 lower bookshelves. The buyers decided to remove their safety rail, so you can see the Guard Rail shelf on the floor. In the right hand photo, you can see a painting resting on a single shelf that was installed underneath the bed. This bed was stained with a "Rosewood" stain.
This is a Full Size Loft Bed that was purchased by a family in Concord. The frame is 6ft tall, with holes drilled at 4.5ft. The family decided to purchase a desk for the length of the bed, which you can see in the pictures above. The desk features a pull out keyboard tray, as well a hole for their sons computer cords. They also ordered a front ladder, and had all of the Loft's edges rounded over to give the bed a more "finished" appearance. We stained this bed in a dark Chestnut, and then added 2 coats of Semi-Gloss clear coat to the entire piece. You can read their testemonial HERE.
This is a Full Size Loft Bed that was purchased by a buyer in Oakland. The frame is 63" tall, with holes drilled so that there is 57" of clearance under the bed. The buyer decided to purchase a closet rod for the width of the bed which you can see in the picture above. This loft was customized to fit the buyers needs. There are no guardrails on this bed, and the legs do not extend past the mattress. Due to this design, we added corner bracing to all 4 corners to ensure the stability of the bed. We stained the bed with a water based "White Wash" pickling stain.
This is a Queen Size Loft Bed that was purchased by a couple in Berkeley. The frame is 72" tall, with holes drilled so that there is 60" of clearance under the bed. Currently the bed is set at the 5ft height. As you can see from these pictures, the guardrails were both set to the outside of the bed. We also added a full length closet rod underneath, so that the buyer can utilize all of that space. Also in the second picture, you can see clearly how a large Guard Rail shelf fits onto the bed.
This is a Full Size Loft Bed that was purchased by a buyer in San Francisco. The frame is 84" tall, with 5.5 ft of clearance under the bed. The buyer was able to store all of her boxes under the bed, as well as a standing clothes rack. Even with all of this underneath the bed, there is still plenty of room left over. You can read her testemonial HERE.

As you can see from these pictures, there is enough room underneath this loft to fit both a crib and a dresser. The buyer also ordered 3 sets (6 total) of Blue Safety Handles. You can see two of these handles installed in the lefthand picture. These handles provide a great additional safety measure, plus they help smaller children make the climb. After these pictures were taken, the other two additional sets of handles were installed on the bed. You can read her testemonial

This is a Queen loft that was made for a buyer in San Francisco. The bed currently has 69" of clearance under the bed. Because of the small room size, and the fact that she needed complete access to her closet, we customized this bed to fit her specific needs. As you can see in the picture, the closet is 99% un-obstructed. This loft bed essentially doubled her room size. This loft beds length was also customized to span the width of the the buyers room. It measures 90" long. You can read her testemonial

This is a Queen Loft Bed that was built for a buyer in San Francisco. The bed was designed with 2 height settings, one at 6ft and the other at 4ft originally. In the 1st three pictures above you will see the original Loft set at 6ft with a front ladder attached. The buyer later decided that she wanted a lower bed, so I created four new legs for her, and we rebuilt the loft with them. On the new legs we set the heights to be at 5ft, and 2ft for the clearance. Once the new legs were on, she decided to go for a "4 poster" feel, so we set the bed at the 2ft height for her. This new setup can be seen in the last 2 pictures.

This is a Queen size Loft Bed that was built for a buyer in San Francisco. He contacted me with a request to build a loft that would fit into a small alcove next to his fireplace. As you can see from the pictures, we were able to do just that, providing a solid bed that slid right into place once we assembled it. Because of the limited room we had to work with, this bed's design was modified to work specifically with his unique space. There is 6ft of clearance under the bed, and a widthwise closet rod was added as well. **UPDATE** I have added a couple of pics of the newly finished loft bed. This is a Full size Loft Bed that was built for a buyer in Vaccaville. She contacted me with a request to build a loft for her daughter that would fit into very specific area. We painted the bed with a Swiss Coffee latex enamel. This is a Queen size Loft Bed that was built for a buyer in San Francisco. The bed features a bookcase headboard, and was finished in a Natural stain. This bed has 6.5ft of clearance underneath. As a result of its height, the bed was anchored into the wall to ensure 100% safety in case of an earth quake. Because they buyer wanted to ensure the bed was accessible by their pets (cats & dog) we built them a bookcase style storage staircase. This not only allowed all of their animals to make an easy climb into the bed, but it also provided them with much needed extra storage. The storage unit was made from the same material as the bed, and was stained to match.
