Our Lofts were designed to the specifications of the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) safety guidelines for bunk beds (please read about them HERE). Our loft's are designed and intended to be used for children over 6, and adults. Using these lofts for anyone not described here may lead to injury, or death. Since Wooden Lofts has no control over the quality of assembly done by our customers, or any modifications made to the loft by our customers, Wooden Lofts can not be held legally liable from any accidents, injuries, poor assembly, or property damage resulting from the use or misuse of our lofts. Because of the elevated nature of a loft bed, there are potential risks involved due to falling. This risk can be heightened when rough housing, sleepwalking, through alcohol consumption, and by prescription medications.

All materials in our Loft beds are wood products, and as such will ignite and catch fire when any flame is present. They could potentially ignite if a sufficient heat source is located too closely. The addition of stains and paint can accelerate this process, unless you have finished the bed with a flame retardent paint. Anyone who chooses to use our loft shall be deemed to have assumed all risks of accidents, injury and property damage associated with their use. The safety rail MUST be used at all times.
